City Tour Project is creating an album cover for an unknown Artist. The project is base around the idea of the artist's music and how it can influence a design.
Front Cover: The front cover of the album is to represent that feeling of being in the center of a city. The idea of leaving the building is to allow your brain to fill in the gaps. It allows you to place yourself in your city, creating a sense of belonging. I use a sunset color scheme to create a feeling of relaxation while evoking the idea of being out late, wandering around the city.
Back Cover: I designed the back cover of the album to represent the idea of outgrowing your city. After this journey and explorations of one's origins, I wanted to design an idea that represents leaving for bigger and greater glory. Hence, the leaving sign represents the idea that you are stepping outside the limits.
